Waste Disposal at UCRRA

The UCRRA ia a solid waste management authority established to safely manage solid waste for Ulster County.

WHO CAN USE THE UCRRA TRANSFER STATIONS?

Licensed Haulers who pick up and dispose of Municipal Solid Waste in Ulster County must stay in compliance of Flow Control Law.
Residents and businesses from any county can use the Agency Transfer Stations. No permit is required and anyone can use the Transfer Stations. Passenger Vehicles, such as four door sedans, hatchbacks, station wagons, sports cars, etc. are not able to utilize the Agency facilities during the week due to the high volume of commercial truck traffic. However, you are able to use the transfer station on Saturdays. Vans, large SUVs, pick ups, dump trucks, truck and trailer, etc. can use the Agency Monday thru Saturday. ALL OPEN LOADS MUST BE TARPED. Anyone with a tractor trailer load of C&D must call the Agency first for special arrangments.

2017 COMMERCIAL HAULER LICENSE APPLICATION

All Municipal Solid Waste generated within the County of Ulster shall be delivered for disposal to a Solid Waste Management Facility designated by the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency. No Hauler shall collect, transport or dispose of Solid Waste and/or Recyclable Materials generated within the county without obtaining a Hauler License issued by the Agency. If you are a Hauler operating within Ulster County, the following application must be completed.
