Facility Tours

Schools can make arrangements to tour the facilities by calling the office at (845) 336-0600. Educational material is available for each grade level, and can be incorporated into the math, science, or english curriculum.

Tours include a "hands-on pre-tour" presentation of how the recycling sorting line works, discussion of renewable vs non-renewal resources, what raw materials are used to make everyday household products that are part of the State mandated recyclables criteria, and products that are made from recycled material.

For more information, contact the Agency office or view School Programs/Lesson Plans for some great grade appropriate education tools that can be incorporated into the curriculum.
